Bathroom

The Centre has a showroom with a bathroom area.
The bathroom has a full size bath where bathboards, bath seats and a range of bath lifts can be tried.  There is also a sample of the type of shower which could be installed to replace a bath.  A variety of shower seats, toilet raisers are also normally available. 
The Centre also has two working models of flushing and washing toilets, both the Geberit toilet and the Clos-o-Mat toilet.

You can drop into the Centre to pick up information and be shown equipment but some items of equipment can only be tried when an Occupational Therapist is available.  To avoid disappointment, it is, therefore, strongly recommended that you book an appointment before visiting.

  • The Centre is impartial and does not sell equipment but is an opportunity for you to "try before you buy" equipment.
  • The Centre can also provide information on local and national retailers and "Wise Buy Guides"  which provide question to ask before parting with your money.
