Disabled Birders Association
Cinema Exhibitors' Association Card This is a national card that can be used to verify that the holder is entitled to one free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema. To apply for the card you will need to meet one or more of the following criteria: be in receipt of the disability living allowance or attendance allowance; be a registered blind person. The card is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. The web-site has a list of participating cinemas. There is a charge for the card.

Health Walks Walking the Way to Health (WHI) promotes led health walks nationally. It is a joint initiative between Natural England and the British Heart Foundation. WHI encourages people to take regular short walks in their communities. There are numerous led walking groups which take place all over Oxfordshire.
The National Trust produce a booklet "Access Guides" which provides access details to their properties. The National Trust's admission policy admits the necessary companion of a disabled visitor free of charge, whilst the normal membership or admission fee will still apply to the disabled person. Disabled visitors can apply for an "Admit One Card".
Date Disabled run a dating agency for people who are disabled. Also a chat room where contact can be made with other disabled people around the world.
