Before hiring equipment you may wish to see whether equipment can be provided to you by Oxfordshire County Council.  They may provide equipment to adults living in Oxfordshire.  In the first instance you should contact the Social and Health Care Team on 0845 050 7666.  Equipment may also be loaned by hospitals following surgery, such as hip replacement surgery.  You may wish to check with the hospital before hiring equipment.
